Phew... It's been a while since I've updated, and if any of you have been reading my blog for a while, you know that normally, this is the section where I would apologize. Haha. This time around, however, I have decided I am not going to apologize for not updating. Here's why:
- I started a new career and I am no longer a teacher. I miss my students, but I LOVE my new job. At my new job, I sit in front of a computer ALL DAY. When I come home, I don't feel like sitting in front of a computer, so it's been tough trying to get motivated to sit and type. Eeek. (I have to start telling myself that this is for Jacob.) Seriously, though, bad excuse.
- My job schedule is now Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm. This allows me to have a routine when I come home. With teaching, I never knew what time I was coming home or if I had to grade papers at night. However, with this job, I come home by 5, cook dinner, then spend the rest of my evening hanging out with my family. (Did I say how much I love this new job?)
I guess my point is that I would much rather hang out with Hubby and Jacob at night than type... Okay I realized as I re-read that I'm lying a little here... I also enjoy vegging out in front of the TV. Hahaha.
So now that I've settled into my new job and evening routine, I have made a goal to continue my blog, only this time, I am not going to put pressure on myself if I don't write for a while, because that just means I'm hanging out with my family more. I hope I can say I'll be updating more often, but that just adds to the pressure! Here's to no pressure!! :-)
